Reporter Intern (2010)
I covered an important and tragic story on the first day of my internship at a local newspaper in Ontario. Stephanie Hoddinott was murdered by her ex-partner in January 2010. Through my local connections, I connected with Stephanie’s cousin and aunt to interview both of them. Throughout my time at the paper, I continued to cover local news while learning firsthand the importance of responsible journalism.
