Lead Social Media Specialist (2012 – 2013)
During my time at Playboy Plus Entertainment, I was promoted to lead a small team and oversee the development and execution of strategic social media initiatives. I worked closely with various social platforms and management tools to drive brand awareness, engagement, and growth. Our team managed social accounts for Playboy Plus, Playboy.com, Playboy TV, and Playboy Radio. Through creative content creation and partnership building, the brand was on a mission to develop its digital presence in a new way. Our work together was a key step to ensure Playboy’s growth and relevancy in an increasingly competitive digital world.
For this role, key contributions and responsibilities are highlighted below.
Content Creation
- Created and managed a content calendar that supported monthly campaign goals and key brand initiatives.
- Executed #TuesdayTease campaign and “Twitterviews” (interviews with celebrities and models via Twitter) for follower engagement and growth.
Influencer/Model Relationship Building
- Fostered relationships with influencers, brand advocates, and online communities by partnering to expand the brand’s reach and increase engagement.
Leadership
- Led a social media team to ensure alignment with the brand’s growth goals while delivering creativity and quality.
- Managed a weekly reporting schedule to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and deliver insights to internal teams. Adjusted strategy based on insights to improve content performance.
